What is Sporting Clays?
Sporting Clays is the fastest growing shooting sport in the nation!
Often described as “golf with a shotgun,” each participant goes to a station where two clay targets are thrown into the air. The participant loads two shells into a shotgun and tries to break each target before it lands. At most stations, the pair of targets is repeated three or four times. Usually there are at least 10 different stations, each with a different pair of targets: going away, overhead, crossing, falling, etc.
